A showcase for the municipality of Tavannes
The needs
Tavannes, a charming municipality of 3,500 residents in the beautiful Grand Chasseral region, asked Thimoo to completely rethink its website. The goal was to make official information easier to communicate to citizens and visitors, while highlighting community life, especially local news and events.
The new website also had to be a true showcase for Tavannes, highlighting its many assets and attractions. Finally, it was essential that the site be easily manageable by municipal staff to ensure regular, efficient content updates.
Our approach
As part of this collaboration with the municipality, we worked together to clarify the site architecture and improve the user experience. Visitors can now navigate easily and quickly find the information they need.
Among the new features is a directory, filterable by sector, making it easier to find contacts and local providers. A virtual counter was carefully designed, allowing users to complete various administrative procedures online without having to travel.
Local events and official news are now highlighted on the home page, adding dynamism and simplified access to the latest municipal news. To ensure regular, efficient content updates, we prepared adaptable page templates, allowing municipal staff to easily add new elements.
Finally, the site was developed responsively, adapting to all devices (computer, smartphone and tablet) for optimal, comfortable reading regardless of the device used.
